‘Our Kid’ is a 7ft steel sculpture which currently stands in Manchester Central Library. It charts changes in healthcare over the last 60 years and marks the anniversary of the announcement of the NHS. The sculpture is embedded with screens, featuring interviews, public service broadcasts and films made by local young people.
I designed the touchscreen interface for the interactive portion, which enables the user to select and view these films. For the purposes of this website, I have simulated the touchscreen experience.
